Agnes Sim died September 15, 2006. She was born Nov. 21, 1919, daughter of William and Elizabeth Sim. She was married in 1940 to Edward A. Strickert.
Agnes Begg Strickert, nee Sim, beloved wife of the late Edward A. Strickert (died Dec. 14, 2003); loving mother of Betty (Norman) Prokey, Carol Domanus, Dawn Edmond, and Edward B. Strickert; dear grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 15; fond sister of Elsie (Raymond) Mienert; sister-in-law of Alfred E., John (Kathy), and the late Arthur; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17 W 201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL ( 1/2 block west of Rt 83). Interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. 630-941-5860.
