Albert Ralph Strickert
son of Emil Frederick Strickert, son of Johann Carl Strickert, son of Friedrich Wilhelm Strickert (and Wilhelmina Giermann), son of Johan and Christina Strickert.

Albert Strickert passed away at his home Tues, April 1, 2003 after battling cancer for the last year. 
 
He was born in Govan, Washington, April 15, 1929 and raised in Grand Coulee. He had started his work in construction in 1947 and was then drafted in the Army for two years. He then went back into construction and retired after 56 years. He belonged to the Operating Engineers, Local 370 of Spokane, Washington. 
 
He married Vada Perry in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Feb 23, 1952, and made his home in Moses Lake. He loved to work on cars, building things and bartering was his number one love. 
 
He is preceded in death by his sister Elsie Strickert and his brother Earl Strickert. 
 
He is survived by his wife of the home, one brother Ernest of Alexandria, Lousiana, Donda Pickering of Moses Lake, Shawna Schimki and Jim Schimki of Moses Lake, and one son John Strickert and Candy Munger of Grand Coulee, and four grandchildren, Albert and Stacy Pickering of Moses Lake, Dustin Munger and Tyler Strickert of Grand Coulee. 
 
There will be a private family service at his request.
