son of John William Strickert, son of Johann Christian Friedrich Strickert, son of Johan and Christina Strickert.

Alfred J. Strickert, [ born Oct. 4, 1893, died Oct. 14, 1974] beloved husband of Frieda; fond father of Edward (Agnes), Arthur (Ruth), Alfred J. Jr. and John (Grace); grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of 13; brother of the late Arthur.

Resting at Peterson Funeral Home, 6938 W. North Av. Lying-in-state Wednesday at Trinity Evan. Lutheran Church, 1400 N. Laramie, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service, 1:30 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West. 637-4441.
