FLUGEL, Arlene Lois (Peterson)
Passed away suddenly on October 27, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Arlene was born in Colville, WA on February 17, 1934 to Harry and Bernice Peterson. She grew up in Marcus, WA where she attended and graduated from high school.
She married Robert Flugel in 1953 and they spent the next 55 years together raising and enjoying a very large family, while residing in the Chewelah, WA area.
Arlene is survived by her husband Robert Flugel; sisters Beverly Siegel, Donna Carroll; children Deborah Husby (husband Lynn), David Flugel (wife Liz), Stanley Flugel (wife Michelle), Victoria Manus (husband Lance), Michael Flugel (wife Dena) and Wendy Regan (husband Shaun). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arlene was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Goede and her son, Clifford William Flugel. Arlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The funeral service for Arlene Flugel will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Danekas Funeral Chapel, 402 E. Main, Chewelah, WA.
