DONNA ARLENE STRICKERT was born June 4, 1947 in Goodland, KS to Donald Eugene and Mildred Arlene (Smith) Leighty, married Delbert Strickert in Garden City, and died Nov 19, 2003 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Funeral services were Nov 22 at the Kelley Memorial Chapel of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include her husband of the home in Eufaula; her mother of Johnson, KS; two sons, Phil Strickert and wife Melinda of Plains, KS and Steve Strickert of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Le Roy Leighty of Denver, MO; sisters, Bonnie Wheat of San Antonio, TX, Ruth Ellen Hay of OH, Onita Sheppard of Kansas City, and Ester Batterton of Manter, KS; and five grandchildren, Savanna, Marley, Benjamin, Kyle and Trudy Ann.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Eldon Leighty.
