Survivors: husband, Verlin; son, Lewis Rose of Scott City; daughters, Elaine Mohler, Jean Rose, both of Garden City; stepsons, Jim of Potwin, Olin of Greencastle, Ind.; stepdaughters, Edith Hayes of Kansas City, Kan., Judy Whiteside of Cordele, Ga., Jeanette Chaney of Indianapolis, Jolene Potter of Racine, Wis.; brothers, Floyd Strickert, Franklin Strickert, both of Scott City; sister, Verda Hager of Bloomington, Neb.; six grandchildren; 27 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; 12 step-great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Federated Church. Petersens' Funeral Home.
