Deceased Name: Elsie L. Strickert

Elsie L. Strickert, 63, of Delano, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at her home.

 

She was born April 10, 1935, in Govan to Emil and Hulda (Lotte) Strickert and moved to Delano in October 1938.

 

She attended school in Grand Coulee, where she was past president of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 2577, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary No. 6268, Wilbur.

 

Survivors include three brothers, Al and Vada Strickert, Moses Lake, Ernest and Ruby Strickert, Alexandria, La., and Earl Strickert, Delano; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Gladys Kraft.

 

Arrangements are by Strate Funeral Home, Grand Coulee.
