Esther Smith
Esther Smith passed away peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, January 13, 2006 in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late Sylvester SMITH (1949). Precious mother of Walter and Dorothy SMITH, June and Sonny METZGER, Jack and Shirley SMITH, William and Sandra SMITH, Marion DICK and the late Maurice DICK, the late Joyce SMITH, Wayne SMITH and Joan CAMERON.
Predeceased by her sisters Mary STRICKERT [see obituary Mary Beatrice Druce Strickert, Dec. 15, 1999], Margaret MURRAY, Katherine CROOKS and grandson Daniel CAMERON and Ronald CLARKE. Esther will be missed by 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive Friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 3 p.m. Officiating the service will be Major Larry BRIDGER of The Salvation Army Hillcrest Community Church. Interment at Parry Sound Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home 452-3770.
