LeROY -- Fern Lucile Lee, 84, of LeRoy, formerly of Pontiac, died at 11:50 p.m. Monday (July 19, 2004) at ManorCare in Normal.
Her funeral will be at noon today at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 101 W. Center St., LeRoy. Pastor Frederick Hill will officiate. Private burial will be in the Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon before the funeral today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation or the Faith Lutheran Church of LeRoy.
Mrs. Lee was born on Feb. 2, 1920, in Scott County, Kan. She was the daughter of Henry F. and Edith D. Eikelberger Wilken. She married John Clarence Lee on July 23, 1944, in Salina, Kan. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1969.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Lee, Peoria, Ariz.; Norma (Bob) Starr, LeRoy; and Patricia (Gary Phifer) Phifer-Lee, Bellflower; six grandchildren, John (Becky) Vezza, Peoria; Christina and Andrew Ullsperger, Bloomington; David (Summer) Starr, Fort Polk, La.; Sandra Starr, LeRoy; and Camilla Phifer, Bellflower; two great-grandchildren, Anthony John Vezza and Abigail Jane Vezza, Peoria, Ill.; and one sister, Grace Cook, Oberlin, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred and Arthur Wilken; and one sister, Thelma McClellan, as well as one infant son.
She enjoyed her family and gardening and was a dedicated blood donor.
