When Johann & Christian Feuerhak and five sons immigrated to Canada in 1856, Mina and Carl remained in Germany where they had three more children between 1855 and 1860-- Mina, Maria, and Carl. Emigration records show that they left Germany for Chicago in 1862. Church records at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Chicago show that the four children were confirmed there between 1865 and 1874.
In 1873, when Joanna Kleinke died in Childbirth, Friedricke Hoppenrath married the widower Albert Kleinke. This is listed in theCook County marriage registry:

With the influx of German immigrants, St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, was established by Immanuel as a mission congregation. The church records also list their marriage:

The family continues at St. Matthew's until Friedericke's death in 1922:
