Son of Sharon Trigg Means, daughter of Juanita  Bockelman Trigg. daughter of Hulda Uppendahl Bockelman, daughter of Mary Strickert Uppendahl, daughter of Friedrich Strickert and Catherine Neumann, son of Johann and Christine Strickert

Ian Means ( Feb. 25, 1994 - June 16, 2009)

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. June 28 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene for Ian Alexander Means of Eugene, who died June 16 of leukemia. He was 15. A celebration of life will be held later.

He was born Feb. 25, 1994, in Chicago to Phillip Means and Sharon Trigg.

Means was a ninth-grade student and the bass and guitar player for the band Employee of the Month.

Survivors include his parents and a grandmother, Juanita Trigg.

Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Candlelighters or Children’s Cancer Association.
