John Edward Strickert

son of Alfred John Strickert, son of John William Strickert, son of Johann Christian Friedrich Srickert, son of Johann and Christina Strickert.

John Edward Strickert, 75, died August 24, 2007 in Poplar Grove, Illinois.  He was born June 17, 1932 in Chicago, son of Alfred Strickert and Frieda Giese.

He was married three times to Joyce, Grace Vosyk, and Kathy.  He is survived by his wife Kathy and daughter Kelly of Poplar Grove; his son Earl Strickert of Chicago; and son Craig Strickert,  daughter-in- law Sandra; and grandchildren Matthew, MacKenzie, Mark, and Margaret, all of Atlanta.

Belvidere Funeral Home took care of arrangements.
