Leonard Strickert (1910-1966)
Scott City--Leonard H. Strickert, 56, died Tuesday at his home in Scott City. Born April 18, 1910 in Scott City, he married Mildred Marshall, Jan 29, 1944 in Liberal. He lived in Marienthall until moving to Scott City in 1956.
He is survived my the widow at home; daughters Roberta and Ranee, both of the home; sons Arthur and Richard, both of the home; and Robert, U.S. army in Frankfurt, Germany; sisters Mrs. Elsie Allen, Aberdeen, and Mrs. Elmer Miller, Friends; brothers Charles an Clarence, both of Scott City, and Phil of Garden City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Robert E. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
