CONCORDIA - Louis H. Bockelman Sr., 94, died Dec. 8, 1991, in a nursing home in Concordia, where he lived.

He was born near Alma, Mo., and lived in Higginsville, Mo., before moving to Concordia four years ago. Mr. Bockelman was a farmer before he retired. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Higginsville.

Survivors include four sons, Lorenze Bockelman, Etowah, N.C., Melvin Bockelman, Concordia, Louis E. Bockelman Jr., Kansas City, and Marcus Bockelman, Fredericksburg, Va.; three daughters, Verna Meyer and Juanita Trigg of Higginsville and Naomi Foster, Warsaw, Mo.; a sister, Flora Ehmke, Dighton, Kan.; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church; burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, near Alma. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Wiegers Chapel, Higginsville. The family suggests contributions to the multi-purpose building of the church.
