Wife of John William Strickert, son of  Christian Strickert & Pauline Krugel, son of Johann and Christina Strickert.

Mrs. William Strickert, 92, of Monkton, died last Saturday at St. Marys Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Mornington Township the former Margaret (Margaretha) Schade.  After her marriage she lived in Elma Township and then in Monkton.  Her husband died in 1921.  She was a member of Monkton Lutheran Church.

The body rested at the McMane Gilbart funeral home, Stratford, after Sunday, where service was held on Monday.  Rev. Harold Patzer of Monkton Lutheran Church officiated.  Temporary entombment was in Avondale cemetery chapel.  Burial will be later in Elma Centre cemetery.
