Marion Selena Broughton Hinz 
wife of Ivan James Hinz, son of Lawson William, son of Daisy Wilhelmina Strickert, daughter of Frederick Charles Strickert, son of Christian Carl Strickert, son of Johan and Christina Strickert.

Mrs. Marion Selena Hinz, 69, of Mitchell passed away at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Monday, February 2, 2004.

Beloved wife of Ivan Hinz. Dear mother of Murray (Stephanie) Hinz of Monkton, Raymond (Vicki) Hinz of Bornholm and Kevin (Vicky Wolfe) Hinz of Mitchell; loving grandmother of Stacey, Ben, Jeffery, Trevor, Cory, McKenzie and Mikaela Hinz and of a great granddaughter, Alexis; dear sister of Mildred Elder of Stratford, Mae Coxon of Listowel, Lottie Hinks of Mitchell, Pearl Youngblut, Helen Henry, both of Monkton and Georgina (Bob) Hennick of Mitchell; dear sister-in-law of Florence Broughton of Listowel, William Baillie of Monkton, Alvin (Kay) Hinz of Mitchell, Carl (Simone) Hinz of Monkton, Stanley Hinz of Hamilton, Edith Pushelberg of Mitchell and Betty Riley of Stratford.

Predeceased by her parents George and Lily (Young) Broughton, brother Bill Broughton, sisters Alice Baillie and Shirley Hinz, brothers-in-law Tom Elder, Alex Buchanan, Morris Coxon, Roy Hinks, Rudolph Youngblut, Lorne Henry, Elmer Hinz, Lloyd Riley, Lloyd Pushelberg and Eric Hinz and a sister-in-law Jessie Hinz.

Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Peter Bush officiating. During the service, Vicky Wolfe-Hinz spoke in tribute of Marion. Spring interment in North Logan Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Huron-Perth Lung Association, Children's Hospital of Western Ontario or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
