SCOTT CITY - Pearl E. Strickert, 91, died Jan. 27, 2006, at her home, Scott City.

She was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Scott County, the daughter of Irvin and Lottie Ryan See. A lifetime Scott County resident, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to First Baptist Church, Scott City, and the Elks Lodge, Garden City.

On Dec. 23, 1933, she married Karl Strickert in Scott City. He died Nov. 3, 1969.

Survivors include: a son, Max, Fairfield, Calif.; two daughters, Karyl Hollister, Pueblo, Colo., and Laurel Binns, Scott City; a brother, Walter See, Scott City; three sisters, Hazel Eikerman, Flagler, Colo., Lorena Turley and Dorothy Patton, both of Scott City; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry and Roger; three brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Scott City, with the Rev. Lynn Smith presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City. Burial will be in Scott County Cemetery.
