Chicago -- Rebecca Ruehrdanz-Gustin, 39, of Park Ridge died July 14, 1993 in Lutheran General Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Gary; children, Maija and Benjamin; her parents, the Rev. Walter and Betty Ruehrdanz; and sisters, Cathy Longerman and Chris Fair.

Mrs. Ruehrdanz-Gustin was a piano teacher, organist, and minister of music at Messiah Lutheran Church and a member of the American Guild of Organists and the North Shore Piano Teachers Association.  Previously she graduated from Augustana College and studied music for five and a half years in Vienna and received a master's degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, N.Y.

Visitation was in Matz Funeral Home, Chicago.  Funeral services were held July 16 in Messiah Lutheran Church, Melvina and Patterson avenues in Chicago.  Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
