Strickert, C.F.W., Farmer and Ranchman, Scott City. Settled in County 1888. Native of Canada [actually Germany]. This farm, located in Sections 36 and 1, Township 18 south, Range 19 West, and known as “City View Ranch,” contains 879.06 acres of which 40 acres are in cultivation. Improvements consist of a seven room frame building, barn 40 x 62, granary, cow shed and chicken house, and three wells.
Strickert, Fred W., Rancher and Boiler-maker, Denver, Colo. Settled in County 1888. Native of Canada. This farm, located in Sections 2 and 35, Townships 18 and 19 South, Range 32 West, Scott City, contains 799.08 acres, of which 320 acres are in cultivation, and it is all fenced and all good alfalfa land.
