SCOTT CITY — Stanley E. Hutchins, 57, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at his home in Scott City.

He was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Garden City, to Eugene Dorsey and Evelyn Irene Hopper Hutchins.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mr. Hutchins was a carpenter and an avid photographer.

On March 23, 1973, he married Ranee Strickert in Scott City.

Survivors include a son, Casey Hutchins of Olathe; his parents, of Scott City; a brother, Alan Hutchins of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Dorsi Cupp of Dighton, and Julia Hutchins and Becky Hutchins, both of Scott City; three nieces; one nephew; two grandnieces; and one grandnephew.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Scott City, with the Rev. Kyle Evans officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
