daughter of Eldeen Raycraft, daughter of Laura Elora Strickert, daughter of Frederich Charles Strickert, son of Christian Carl Strickert, son of Johan and Christina Strickert.

Mrs. Valerie Elaine Davidson, 49, of RR 2, Monkton passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 23, 2005.
 
Beloved wife of Rick Davidson. Dear mother of Marty Davidson and wife Jennifer of RR 1, Brunner, Tim Davidson and wife Rosanna of RR 2, Milverton and Jeremy Davidson and wife Melinda of RR 1, Brunner; dear mother-in-law of Angela Davidson of Stratford; loving nana of Brett, Colin, Hunter, Olivia, Henry, Brian, Rosa Mae and Julie Anna - nana's pumpkins; beloved daughter of Harvey and Eldeen (Raycraft) Ward of Monkton; dear sister of Doug Ward and wife Elaine of Stratford, Daryle Ward and wife Kim of Goderich and Lyle Ward and wife Julie of Monkton; dear daughter-in-law of Carl Davidson and companion Sharon of 184 Mitchell; dear sister-in-law of Wendy and Doug Hansen, Cindy and Randy Fortune, all of Stratford, Jeff and Ruth Davidson of Baden and Joe Davidson of Mitchell. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by a son Jason Davidson (2004) and mother-in-law Isabel Davidson (1998). Valerie was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton and the W.A. of the church. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m..

The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Theresa McDonald-Lee officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
