Survivors: sons, Jim V. of Potwin, Olin D. of Greencastle, Ind.; daughters, Edith Hayes of Shawnee, Janette Mathena of Greencastle, Judy Whiteside of Cordele, Ga., Jolene Potter of Racine, Wis.; brother, Gene of Newton; sisters, LaVera Good of Newton, Maxine Rupp of Halstead, Edith Harper of Chevy Chase, Md., Fern Lingnau of Ponca City, Okla., Bob Stineman of Davenport, Iowa; 28 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Federated Church and Parkinson's Disease Association. Petersen Funeral Home, Newton.
