Warren W. Hitzke, 80, of Chicago, he served in the U.S. Army as a Physical Therapist at Cook Co. Hospital, Chicago, during World War II, before retiring, Mr. Hitzke worked for 45 years as a salesman for Hills. Bros. Coffee.

He is beloved husband of Evelyn, nee Schroeder; loving father of Cheryl (Thomas) Sanders and Jeannine Hitzke.

In state Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Entombment, Concordia Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m. at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for the "Little Bethlehem Indoor Play Area" of Shepherd's Flock Intergenerational Child Care Center at Lutheran Home & Services, 800 W.
